Privacy Policy
Effective: 2026-08-22. Home Repair Index ("we") is operated by Phase Logic LLC. This policy describes what we collect on homerepairindex.com and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). GA4 sets cookies; we do not use analytics data to identify individuals.
- Session analytics. We use Microsoft Clarity to record how pages are used, including scrolling, clicks, and session replays, so we can see where a page's layout confuses people. Clarity automatically masks text you type into form fields, and we do not use it to identify individuals. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
- Quote requests (when offered). If you submit a quote-request form or call a tracked phone number on this site, the information you provide — such as name, contact details, ZIP code, and project description — is shared with the lead-generation network and participating contractors so they can contact you about your project. That sharing is the purpose of the form. Partner networks process your information under their own privacy policies, and their calls or texts to you may be recorded by them.
- Affiliate links. Some pages carry sponsored links, marked as such where they appear. Clicking one hands you off to an affiliate network (Commission Junction) that sets a cookie to credit us if you go on to request a quote. We may earn a commission; it costs you nothing extra, and it does not change the cost figures on this site.
- Email. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
What we don't do
We don't sell browsing data, run advertising or retargeting trackers, or send marketing email lists. We collect no payment information — nothing on this site costs money.
Your choices
You can browse without submitting any form. You can block cookies in your browser; the site works fine without them. To ask what we hold about you or request deletion, email [email protected].
Changes
We'll update this page when practices change, with a new effective date.
